Matlhodi “Todie” Refiloe Destiny Sebolai (Junior company) knows one thing: SHE LOVES TO DANCE!
She credits her love for dance to her love for music and rhythmic beats. Matlhodi is a focused scholar and she puts the same hardwork and dedication from school into dance. She describes dance as an art form for self-expression. She uses that self-expression to choreograph dance routines in her spare time. Matlhodi believes that her tall stature adds to the intensity of her intricate choreography. She plans on teaching dance In the future. She recently joined the Lesole’s Dance Project; which will connect her with her South African heritage, learning traditional and modern choreography.
Matlhodi’s dance background started at Dance Place: Hip-Hop 1; Hip-Hop 2. She also takes dance hip-hop, jazz and ballet at Sitar with dance instructor Chitra Subramanian.
